Join us as we celebrate Couperin’s 350th birthday with his gorgeous “Quatrième Concert” from Concerts Royaux,; music written for the palace of Versailles. Additional program highlights include Monteclair’s love-story cantata “Pan et Syrinx,” Marais’ “The Bells of St. Genevieve,” “Hymn of the Angels” by Clérambault, plus French suites and carols.

Columbia Baroque is a professional chamber ensemble in Columbia, SC comprised of leading Baroque music specialists from South Carolina and North Carolina, each with distinguished careers as chamber musicians, soloists and educators. Ensemble members include Jean Hein, Baroque recorder; Mary Hostetler Hoyt, Baroque violin; Erika Cutler, Baroque violin; Brittnee Siemon, mezzo-soprano; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; and Jerry Curry, harpsichord.
